Taylor Swift, Britney Spears tickets on sale this weekend - Ticket News

Tickets for the upcoming Britney Spears tour, as well as tickets to upcoming concerts from Taylor Swift are on sale throughout the weekend ending May 2 as compiled by TicketNews.

This weekend's onsales start with tickets to three upcoming concerts from pop superstar Taylor Swift. Routinely selling out her tour dates, Swift has upcoming shows in Austin, TX, Jacksonville, FL and Columbia, SC, among today's onsales. Tickets are also on sale today for upcoming shows from Jennifer Hudson, including stops in Las Vegas, Toronto, and Indianapolis. Hudson has some additional dates on sale Saturday, including stops in Boston and Detroit.

On sale throughout the weekend are several upcoming concerts from Phish. Typically a strong selling group, thanks in great part to their extremely loyal fan base, Phish has shows on sale in Chicago, Hollywood, and Lake Tahoe. Also on sale this weekend are tickets to two upcoming concert dates from country stars Rascal Flatts. The band will be playing in Atlanta and Raleigh, North Carolina.

Continuing with this weekend's concert onsales are tickets to pop star Katy Perry's upcoming concerts in San Antonio and Indianapolis. Fellow pop star Britney Spears has tickets to her long awaited come back tour among the Saturday onsales. Among the dates on sale are shows in the large market cities of Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Miami. As this will be Spears' first tour since 2009, it is anticipated to be a hot ticket.

Classical conductor and violinist Andre Rieu has multiple tour dates for his upcoming concert tour on sale Saturday morning. Stops include shows in San Antonio, Detroit, Chicago, and Newark. The joint concert tour from Train and Maroon 5 has four concert dates on sale today, including shows in Nashville and Albuquerque. Finally, tickets go on sale Saturday for several upcoming shows from Kings of Leon, including concerts in Atlanta and Camden, NJ.

In the wake of the devastating tornadoes that swept through the southeast United States and killed at least 180 people, stars like Khloe Kardashian, Taylor Swift and Glee's Kristin Chenoweth are showing their support on Twitter.

Swift, 21, wrote on Thursday: "We're at rehearsals watching videos of the tornados in Tuscaloosa. Our love and hopes and thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected."

Perhaps most proactively, country star Reba McEntire planned an Oklahoma Tornado Relief concert for May 26 to benefit those affected. She wrote on her blog: "I've always said the country music fans are the most loyal and biggest hearted people in the world."

I bought her second album and her voice sounded pretty. She doesn’t have a strong voice like Carrie Underwood…but it was very pretty and easy to listen to.

But recently I have been watching videos of her singing live at concerts, radio stations, etc and she sounds worse then she does on her album? Its kind of hard to listen to and you get tired of her voice after a while? Does anyone else feel this way?

**Im not a hater…i am a fan which is why I bought her second album…but im just telling the truth….

And there are many artist who sound better then their CD…dont answer with:everyone sounds worse, cuz lots of artist dont.
Im starting to get turned off by her. First for her freak out over one of the jonas sisters. Now this.

Why should she be any more special then all the other song writers out there? Thats all she is a songwriter.
shes better then most people…? what do you mean? There are many artist who sing better. Beyonce, shakira, jesse mccartey, carrie underwood, demi lovato, etc.

The average singer sounds worse live than on their CD. It’s very rare when you find someone that sounds the same, or even better.

Sure, Taylor Swift isn’t great live, but she’s not as bad as most people say she is. She’s much better than most people.

edit: By “most people” I mean average, everyday people. And even some famous singers, such as Katy Perry.
